Bold Journey — Meet Jennifer Gardner

Whether you’re new to Renovation Blueprint or have worked with Jennifer Gardner Design for years, you’ll learn something new from this conversation between Bold Journey magazine and our founder, Jennifer Gardner. She shared her time-tested tips that cover everything from great design to navigating the world of business ownership (and gave a sneak peek into the exciting updates that are coming soon to Renovation Blueprint!)

Here are some snippets from the interview:

“Looking back, there are three key pillars that have shaped my journey as both a designer and a business owner: strong communication, building trusted partnerships with trade experts and vendors, and creating streamlined systems that keep projects running like a well-oiled (and beautifully designed) machine.”

“If you’re early in your journey, my advice is to treat each project as both a creative endeavor and a business opportunity. Keep refining your skills, yes—but also build your support network, get organized, and never underestimate the power of a well-worded email.”

“What lights me up the most? It’s that “a-ha” moment when a client walks into their newly renovated space and feels seen, heard, and at home. That magic happens when design is rooted in both empathy and expertise, and that’s what I bring to every project.”

“At the end of the day, my goal is to take the overwhelm out of home renovation and replace it with clarity, confidence, and maybe even a little fun. Because if you’re not laughing at least once during a reno, are you even renovating?”
